SONGMICS Storage Cubes, Set of 6, 11-Inch Foldable Closet Organizers
The standard fix for open shelving: everything visible becomes everything contained.
Six 11-inch storage cubes in a heathered grey fabric, built around rigid boards so they keep their shape on a shelf. Each cube measures about 10.2 x 10.2 x 11 in, and the listing gives a capacity of up to 11 lb per cube.
They are the classic answer to an open cube organizer or a wardrobe shelf. The bottom boards come out so the cubes fold flat — which matters on moving day.

Buying considerations
- Measure the opening, not the shelf. The cubes are 10.2 in square, and the listing suggests an opening of 11 in or more so they slide in comfortably.
- 11 lb per cube is a clothes-and-toys number, not a books number. Dense loads are what make a fabric cube sag or crumple.
- Fabric and board do not like damp. Garages, basements and steamy bathrooms are not the right home unless they are well ventilated.
- Give them a shape before loading. Put the board in, let the cube settle square, then fill it — starting compressed is how the corners get rumpled.

Where It Goes
How it fits into a small apartment
Cube shelving in a living room: toys, controllers and chargers into two cubes, throws into a third.
Wardrobe shelf: knitwear folded upright in one cube so you can see every colour at a glance.
Kids' room: one cube per category — blocks, cars, dress-up — so tidying has an obvious end point.
These are general suggestions based on the way the listing describes the product being used. Appart Edit has not tested this product in your home.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do they hold their shape?
Yes, once the rigid bottom board is in place. The listing describes a stiff, stable structure, and the cubes fold only when the boards are out.
How much fits in one cube?
Up to 11 lb according to the listing. Sweaters, toys, towels and cables are the sweet spot; books and tools are not.
Will they fit my shelving?
Each cube is about 10.2 in square and 11 in tall, and the listing suggests an 11 in opening or larger. Measure the inside of your shelves before ordering.
